Pet Travel Paperwork

We prepare the paperwork. A vet certifies it.

Royal Paws prepares pet travel paperwork for dogs leaving Nicaragua and gets it certified by a veterinarian. If you are bringing a dog into the country, we can advise what documents and timing usually matter before you arrive.

For exports, we handle the document package and coordinate veterinary certification close to your travel date — typically the week before departure. Requirements depend on your destination, airline, and route, so we confirm the current checklist for your trip.

Message us early with your destination and travel dates. The more complete your records are when you start, the smoother certification goes.

What to give us

FAQ

Do you only advise, or do you prepare the documents?

We prepare the export paperwork and arrange veterinary certification. For dogs coming into Nicaragua, we advise on timing, vaccines, and what to bring — then help you get settled once you arrive.

How soon before travel should we start?

Start as soon as your dates are set. Vaccine and parasite timing can take weeks, and the sanitary / health certificate is usually issued close to departure — often the week before travel.

What if my dog is arriving in Nicaragua?

Personal pets usually need a health certificate from the origin country, a valid rabies certificate, and a quarantine permit obtained at the Nicaraguan port of entry. We can review your plan and tell you what to double-check before you fly or drive in.

Do rules change by destination?

Yes. Airlines and destination countries set their own rules. Message us at +506 6242 3666 with your route and we will confirm what your package needs for that trip.
